Whats your reasoning to include the DRS allowed? You think it will make a difference?

Also Thakur is a laughable selection.

Top order - the 10s but the 00s is pretty good too.

Middle order - 00s **** on the current one.

Bowling - Thakur's a joke selection, replace him with someone and 10s are a lot better.

Rahul and Iyer definitely have potential to be Yuvraj and Dhoni.
Yuvi and Dhoni played at #5 to #7. Rahul and Iyer are playing a spot or 2 higher. They are good prospect nonetheless but it's just been a fortnight or so that we started having some confidence in them.

For the record, pretty tough call for ODIs. I'd probably take the 2000s version (the 2011 World Cup win was essentially an extension of 2000s not a 2010s team although Kohli etc were there. They also reached a final in 2003 - where the bowlers blew it).
The bowling is better now and you have Sharma/Kohli etc but the 2000s had Sachin and a deeper batting lineup.
In a 5 ODI series, I'd say 3-2 to 2000s, but it's tight and could swing the other way.

The tests are a clear winner though, in my opinion - 2010s take it easily, on any surface/conditions. Weaker batting line up, but it can go big if conditions are right or pressure is applied from the bowlers. Also, weaker at the top but bats deeper (Jadeja/Ashwin).
And the bowling is just a clear step or two above, even in home conditions.
2010s probably win a 5-test series 3-1 or 4-1 to be honest.

India ODI 2000s would probably win more often on Asian flat pitches with Sachin/Sehwag blazing up top, Dhoni still an explosive finisher, Yuvraj in the engine room. Can see them racking up a few 350+ scores with modern rules. The 2010s team even with Rohit and Shikhar is a tad more conservative unless Rohit bats 40+ overs.

The 2010s team is certainly better away from home with the bowling firepower of Bumrah, and the legspinners who had that purple patch for a couple of years. Yes, they didn't win a WC, but they've been consistent in getting to the latter stages of ICC tournaments, won bilateral series against Australia, NZ, SA etc. all of which are pretty good teams at home.
