ICC Sim League VI

Cricketer Of The Year
What with the game's devs having done such a great job at buffing the ATG mode in Cricket Captain 2018, I thought it was nigh time I dusted off the old sim league and ran a new edition for the latest version of the game.

This time I'll be running an ODI tournament open to players from the last 20 years of ODI cricket (1999 - 2018). As it is, there in no in-game editor for the game out yet, so we'll be restricted to using the database in its current form.

There are 12 teams up for grabs:

Afghanistan
Australia
Bangladesh
England
India
Ireland
New Zealand
Pakistan
South Africa
Sri Lanka
West Indies
Zimbabwe

If you wish to join, simply post which team you would like to manage, & when ready, post your squad of 15. Eligible players must have played ODI cricket for their respective country sometime during 1999 - 2018. This will operate on a first come, first served basis.

The tournament itself will feature all twelve teams competing in a singular round-robin group stage, with the top four sides progressing to the finals. Each team's home matches will be played in their respective home nations, so picking a squad for all conditions is considered vital.

Let the games begin...:toot:

Ashwin, Bhajji, Dravid and Nehra out for Irfan Pathan, Mishra (or Kuldeep if the sim is updated), Dhawan and Shami.

Also Rohit can't bat so low, his career was a joke before he batted up the order.

Dravid is the reserve keeper.
Ashwin can bat a bit.
Mishra? Would rather pick Jaddu.
Dhawan? Gambhir maybe.
Shami is Zak light and worse than the other option.

Rohit could open with Sehwag and push Sachin to 4 si yeah that's a good idea.

Shami is way better than Nehra. Forgot WC 15 already?

Mishra was more of a sim punt. Dude has very good stats.

Glad to see some of the regulars returning for another tournament. Will leave this open for a little while yet. We have 7 entrants so far, looking for at least 8 - 10. I might end up managing one of the lesser nations myself to make up the numbers should we need it.
