I missed the game but as soon as I saw the lineup I realised Belgium aren't it. Half of their starting XI are players I'd assumed were retired.

2018 was their chance. BBC showed the age of their players and all I could think was 'they'd have been in their prime about 4 years ago.'

They are a joy to watch. They have made two good midfields look ordinary when going forward. If only they had a striker, only one I can think of was Radzinski from Everton about 15 years ago.

Canada will cause problems in the 2nd half going forward. The issue is they lack an out and out striker, if they had a half decent Premier striker they would have beaten Belgium and be level here. They are a joy to watch.

They don’t lack a striker at all, Jonathan David is their second best player after Davies. Having a proper striker was how they qualified.
