Kudos to the ref for not buying it.

Hope he's not punished by some faceless FIFA panel of pedants for not sending Pogba off.

Common sense is an underrated virtue in officials.

Unloveable bunch, the Hondurans.

Not an especially great pen, but did the job.

Incidentally, will a ref have the balls to order a retake if a keeper saves one after coming off his line? Every **** does it.

Must be said that the final ball from the French has been of very low quality throughout the half.

Should've put these jokers away already.

They won't. It's pathetic, in the Europa League Final you had the linesman and the extra official just watching the Sevilla keeper come at least 3 yards off his line and they didn't flag once.

Am I smoking crack or something? Isn't that obviously a goal? I don't understand what the "confusion" is meant to be. It hit the post, wasn't in, hit the keeper, went in.

Fmd they're banging in about the goal line tech. It isn't hard - when it hit the post it wasn't in, when it was on the ground in the keeper's hand it went over the line.

So much confected controversy, or is it just stupidity on the part of the comms?
