& on cue, van Persie sets up Sneijder. Maybe I'll just shut my big fat face.

Keeper might'be done a little better tho.

Dutch the only big European team with an unblemished record so far, assuming they hang on here. Can't say they've been incredibly impressive though, just getting the job done.

Yeah, hopefully it'll be the opposite of their Euro 08 performance when they started like a train, but got Arshavined in the quarters.

Got Netherlands in the sweep at work so pleased to see them doing well. Always rooted for them after us tbh, especially after France 98.

Yeah Dutch going well despite not having really got going yet but Robben will make a huge difference when he is fit.

Oooh, a goal. Created entirely through Danish incompetence.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: everybody is ****.

Too easy for Denmark. Good early ball from Rommedahl, one thing I've noticed that's contributed to the lack of goals is that wide men are generally taking forever to get the ball in the box and the strikers don't know when to make their runs.

Genuine prank-defending there from Cameroon, rarely a good idea to show your man inside when there's a huge open space directly in front of the goal there. Great finish though. Rommedahl a World Cup specialist it seems.

Tomasson could've ended it there.

Looks more and more like Pike out of Dad's Army as the years go by tho.

Actually, yer Danes quite the Dad's Army themselves. Tomasson must be nearly 80, pretty sure I was still at uni when he was playing (badly) for Newcastle and Gronkjaer and Rommedahl no spring chickens either.

Another goal would make a huge difference to Denmark's chances of qualification- I wonder if they realise. The commentators don't.

Actually, scoring another is probably more important than not conceding. They've got their tactics completely wrong here.

Yea could have done without Kjaer being suspended too, looks like one of their better players.

You feel taking the draw away from Japan would help a lot given they could be tough to break down.

I missed the game. Read Rommedahl played well. Looking it up, I cant believe he is still only 31. Does he still have his pace?
