or maybe Haddin could get the nod in test as well, the next few seasons with in Hartley/Ronchi's development are going to be important.Craig said:It will be interesting when does pull the plug. I think when he does Haddin will probably get the nod in ODIs while Hartley could very well get the gloves in Test cricket.
Am fairly sure he's played as a specialist batsman in ODIs before.Perm said:Absolute bloody legend as far as I'm concerned. 85 consecutive tests and 242 ODI's through his career, wearing the gloves every single game he has played at international level. My favourite player and I hope he continues to play as long as he is passionate about his cricket.
Keeping wise, Hartley is very good, IIRC he set a record for my longest time with conceded a bye (which was a fair bit), and I don't think Ronchi is first choice yet.aussie said:or maybe Haddin could get the nod in test as well, the next few seasons with in Hartley/Ronchi's development are going to be important.
he effected one very good run out from mid on against RSA during the 97 tour of RSA by Australia during the ODIs. That was the series where he was played as a specialist bat, since Taylor (the captain) was dropped from the ODI side.age_master said:yeah i remember seeing something written by i think Warne saying that Gilchrist without gloves was an awful fielder.
