Fleming v Hooper v Vaughan v Hussey v Sangakkara

Sangakkara clearly out on his own as things currently stand; Hussey, well, I'd prefer wait a few more years before I assess him.

Fleming, Vaughan and Hooper are all very interesting as they all looked like they could be so much better than at Test level they ever ended-up being. With Fleming and Vaughan I get the feeling it's probably simply a case of them being especially attractive of stroke and not really extraordinarily good. But Hooper, for me, is more like Mark Waugh and, plainly and simply, did not achieve anywhere near what he could have done at Test level. And there's no ready explanation for that - it has to go down as one of the game's great mysteries.
