I was acutally looking at this the other day - apart from the obvious Bradman, and Sobers too as I recall, Kohli and Smith are scoring centuries at a pretty insane rate.

There are many players to score century in their first innings. In this video itself clarke has done it.

Ol' Sunny had a pretty good century ratio which was on par with Hayden there for a bit (and in a much, much tougher era). Looks like he had a mid career slump. Ponting until the 35ish mark was insane too and I don't really care what happened after that, it was still an insane, sustained peak.

Speaking of Hayden, it's ridiculous how quickly he got to 20 centuries (before his over year long gaps before his hundred in the final ashes test in 05). Had a frankly absurd rate of hundreds.
