I wouldn't take to much of kippax's posts about South African upbringing.

I can show you dozens of south African cricketers that couldn't cut here. Also many South African that migrated as kids to NZ with driven South African parents throw in the towel as soon as it got harder. Same with sub continent or kiwi upbringing.

Got nothing to do with upbringing. Either they are relentless and work hard or they throw in the towel and lazy. No in-betweens really.

Who are his best mates at Firebirds? Blundell and Ravindra like Conway. Both very hard working individuals. Is it a wonder all three are in the squad? Both kiwi born BTW.
