Daily Blast Comment: A brilliant century from Broncoman was not enough to save a game for the Blues that the bowlers lost. The Blues bowlers have been superb as a unit this season, but they may be running out of steam.
Poor match by me. Need to pick my own game up.

i agree with this, we need to work harder at training and than concentrate on the basics like partnerships in the matches... finding some concistancy is the key to winning more games.
amen i quite agree with that too..

Daily Blast Comment: The Reds let it slip yet again. After a great start of 197/2, they lost a stunning 8 for 17 and the Greens never looked back. There was a slight sniff when Ghansar came on to bowl, but a crucial catch went down and Loony Bob calmly assisted his team home with a very mature and impressive half-century. Alas it was Timewell's comeback effort with the ball that won the Man of the Match.

* After 35 - 165/6
* After 40 - 182/6
* Mr Mxyzptlk 50 off 63 balls; 2 fours, 2 sixes

ENGLAND 'A' 190/8 50.0 overs
CRICKET WEB BLUE 191/6 41.1 overs

Cricket Web Blue won by 4 wickets

Man of the match: Nath Patrick

Daily Blast Comment: A fiery spell from Nath Patrick set the tone early for the Blue bowling, until a fightback was staged by Pieterson. Tom Halsey and Jason Toogood bowled very well in the middle overs and England A only got to a decent total through some late hitting. In the chase the Blues started poorly, but responsible innings from the veterans Broncoman and Mr Mxyzptlk got them home in the end.

Ouch, that is embarrassing. And yet again I drop a vital catch that could cost us the trophy...this really can not continue. I wish there were new keepers coming through the system...

We're doing badly enough as it is, never mind without a key bowler

Don't beat yourself up, it was at full stretch, heading nearer to backward point than you. Hard to catch. You'll make up for it

Well, it's the only thing I could do to win the match for us! No point in hitting 6* when the team vanishes around you... (though probably one of my finest OD knocks this season ;))

though i really dont know what Lord was thinking throwing blewy the ball :P:P:P
Considering he had me hey age? ;):P

Nah seriously it was a good effort, in particular well done to timewell for a spectacular bowling performance. Then well done to Blewy for a solid effort with the bat, and a special mention to Loony Bob for his debut (?) OD 50. Was a good 64* which helped us to victory.

Good tem performance green! Meanwhile Red curmbled udner pressure.... as usual ;)

Well, the FC bowling in the 2nd innings was shocking. Pleased with my first innings bowling, I think I probably should have bowled slightly more...

The OD was a good win boys, well done. :D

Well, I guess it had to happen at some point.

No point dwelling on it guys, if we're gonna play aggressive cricket, then the occasional implosion is going to happen!

Still can't beleive we lost to "the mighty green machine", who worry more about their name than they do about winning these matches
