T Taibu +
W Akram
R Khan
D Steyn
G McGrath

Could trade Crowe for Cairns if you wanted a genuine all rounder. Or sub Streak in for Taibu and let Sanga keep wickets

NGL, taking Gilly when you are restricted to one Aussie and have both Sangakkara and Flower in the XI feels like such a waste.

I mean, I’m obviously going to pick Sanga and Flower as players - since I also need to pick Rashid, 2 full time spinners + Shakib is overkill. The alternate would be subbing in Kallis and McGrath and giving Sanga the gloves.

And all the Kallis haters would hate me!

I think just the team you made would be better with Steve/Keith for Gilly. Ofcourse subbing him and Steyn for Kallis and McGrath is better. Honestly, I would always pick Murali in these excercise, think need a truly Class spinner, Rashid isn't cutting that. So McGrath for Gilly, Murali for Sanga, Kallis for Steyn and Tucker for Rashid to keep.

You underestimate his power. I’m confident if Rashid had the proper opportunity he’d be competing for #4 spinner.
