Best ever all round ODI performance

Great talent. First saw her bowl as a 15 year old on a reddit video. Hope she does even greater things in the days to come.

175, 1-32 and a catch. I don't need to say anything about his batting, India had lost 7 wickets for 78 before Kapil lifted the score to 266. Also, he was the most economical bowler of the match.

Without this performance, cricket wouldn't have got as popular as it is right now in India and BCCI wouldn't have made ICC their bee-yatch. The sheer amount of impact this performance had on Indian cricket puts it on top of the list IMO.

That match wasn't particularly crucial - if India had lost it, they would still have reached the semis with a win against Australia (which I think they needed anyway, because of run rates), so the only effect it could have had on the tournament would have been if it had shattered India's confidence.

Also, weren't India hosting 6-match Test series with record-breaking crowds *before* that World Cup?

Ooh yes Andy Bichel a great shout. That 34* was huge in the context of a low scoring game. The 7/20 was ****ing weird too. Sure he bowled well, but on another day you'd get 3/40.

What was Bevean doing, waiting for Bichel to get out?
Doing what he always did. Exactly what was necessary to win the game. If Bichel was scoring a bit slower, Bevan would have just scored a few more.

A better question is what was Lee doing batting ahead of Bichel.
