Battle of the Test Innings (post-90s)

As I was discussing in 'the great knocks' thread, there should be enough great innings in this decade to make a battle. I wasn't around for the last BOTI, so yeah.

Would appreciate it if people started nominating (and seconding) as I have to go grocery shopping now.

Nominations:

Kamran Akmal 113 against India at Karachi
Ricky Ponting 156 against England at Old Trafford
VVS Laxman 281 against Australia at Kolkata
Kamran Akmal 109 against India at Mohali

Both great innings, but I'm not sure if they qualify ... I took 'post-90s' to mean after 1999.

But we can let the thread originator decide.

In non-centuries...

Flintoff 73 vs Australia 2005
Maybe not quite technically sound, but I'd still like a draw-saving innings: Vaas 50 vs England 2006

Jayawardene 374 vs South Africa 2006 (you can say bucketloads about the pitch, but if Hayden's 380 is in...)

Sangakkara 232 vs South Africa 2004

Chanderpaul 104 vs Australia 2002-03

Fleming 262 vs South Africa 2005-06

Nearly forgot Trescothick 219 vs South Africa 2003

And I suppose G Smith 277 vs England, Edgbaston 2003 deserves a mention. His 259 from the same series does too, unless you work by first chance averages. ;)
