Its actually pretty close. Naturally, im more drawn to the older team and I feel like Warne vs. Zampa is a pretty large downgrade.

The more recent team does have more bowling depth. Ill go 2000s but its pretty close.

Great first post!

Wasn’t there a spare lamp post who could have taken White’s spot?
You could play Watson in that team instead of 2010s but it would weaken 10s.

Symonds could move up to 6 I guess and a James Hopes/Ian Harvey lamp post were options.

Edit - Steve Waugh averaged 41.63 in 49 matches vs. White 32.78 in 47 matches so maybe him too.

Is Warne definitely ahead of Hogg for the 00s (or could you have both and leave out White)?

Comparison from 1/1/2000 onwards:

Warne - 61 matches, 81 wickets, Ave 29.55 , E/R 4.39, SR 40.3, 1 x 4-for, 0 x 5-for
Hogg - 116 matches, 153 wickets, Ave 25.94, E/R 4.52, SR 34.4, 3 x 4-for, 2 x 5-for

Bichel a decent shout over Dizzy too.

Yeah true. I wasnt really looking at the pace bowlers but yeah Bichel a good option for sure.

But tbh, Bracken is the best option not named.

I think Lehmann would be a better an option than White too. Did more with the bat and bowled a lot more often than White in ODIs.
