Angelo Matthews. Capable of the brilliant but not quite consistent enough. Bonafide ATVG.

Cricketer Of The Year
I'll round out my team with Lindsay Hassett (Aus, 46.56). He had a 14-4 win-loss ratio as captain and produced his best work batting at # 4.

Cricketer Of The Year
I'm more than happy with this team. Two proven openers and the batting order has the next five positioned where they perform best. Nurse, in 9 knocks at number 3 averaged 86.22. Hassett averages 51.39 when batting at 4. Dhoni averages 47.32 at number 6 and McMillan averages 58.99 at number 7. Samaraweera is the only one who isn't in his prime batting position but he still averages 47.60 at number 5. The pace attack is sharp with Starc offering left arm variety and Gibbs was only the second player to take 300 wickets and his economy rate is under 2 per over.

Hate to bring the bad news and hope I'm wrong but how are you going to get 8 countries with this pick (isn't that now 9 picks from only 5 countries?)
