Maybe have a 12th round and work out who has been treated the worst so far and they get to go fast.Well there's 12 of us for starters. Plus I made a stuff up and gave you 2 starts (round 3 and 6).
The downside of randomised draft orders is that someone is almost certainly going to be treated unfairly. Not sure what to do about it tbh.
That wouldn't work, after an even number of rounds all the scores would be the same, as we've been reversing the order each time, scoring 13 points every two rounds.Maybe have a 12th round and work out who has been treated the worst so far and they get to go fast.
So just say I've gone 8th, 7th, 9th, 4th = 28 points, while Shri has gone 1st, 10th, 7th, 4th = 22 points, I would go before him in the final round. Just a suggestion, doesn't bother me too much unless someone was always going first..
I'll pick in a minute.
Yeah good point, I didn't actually realize, I thought it had been completely random the whole time. That wouldn't work, after an even number of rounds all the scores would be the same, as we've been reversing the order each time, scoring 13 points every two rounds.
Just pick a few players who've been consistently near the middle to go at the extremes in the later rounds. It'll be more or less even in the end.
I like it too. I'll probably use it in my next draftJust keep it random I guess.
Personally like the concept used in the Random Player Draft by Michael. Gives everyone an equal chance to be both first and last. However its too late for that in this case and its best to keep it random.
