Signed these three guys, and fired everyone who was totally hopeless. None of them are actually particularly good or worth training, but they replaced two feeble batsmen and one feeble bowler in my first team, which is an improvement.

Wage range is ~ 580-1090, so halfway overall.

Got pretty tough game tomorrow, they have better bowling and I have slightly better batting.

I didn't bother changing my pitch because I'm an idiot thus making it more difficult for myself, they have strong spin rating and mine is competent and I made it dusty.

Should have one million quid by end of next week, only need another mill to get me my decent all-rounder...

Can anyone tell me anything to help my finincial situation?

Just have to be patient, you should nearly break even before attendances each week now the 55k subsidy is working, after a couple of home league games you'll be back in the black again.

so what you recommend anything else except patience?
stop buying players for at least one season. tbh, i've only ever purchased 6 players in over 4 seasons of battrick. there really is no need to be constantly raiding the market for new players

End of Over 8: 25-1, runrate=3.13
Schofield 4-1-12-0
Rose* 9 (16 balls)
Nieuwenhuis 16 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Ludlow c. Woolner b. Mccaw 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Steady start by Clapo's XI. Was a little suprised by the fact that the opposition is opening with their spiiner

End of Over 20: 87-3, runrate=4.35
Challinor 5-0-32-1
Appleyard* 24 (21 balls)
Stroud 25 (31 balls)

Last Wicket: Nieuwenhuis b. Mccaw 22 (FOW: 41/3)

Nice partnership forming between Stroud & Appleyard (Who incidentally doesn't understand the idea of playing defensive, not that i'm complaining :))

End of Over 39: 204-4, runrate=5.23
Woolner 8-0-48-1
Stroud* 82 (94 balls)
Taylor 54 (46 balls)

Stroud and Taylor giving the bowlers some stick!!! 300 may be in reach with 6 wickets still in hand, that said, i'll settle for anything over 250!!

Pretty incredible game for my side.

Bowled the opposition out for 135, thanks mainly to Wildsmith and Martyn, but totally collapsed with the bat. Was 3/12, 5/60 and then 8/85. Still needed 51 to win when Folkes came out to join Coulson.

They did amazingly well though, and took the score to 8/132, before the 34th over included two no balls and then Folkes got out for 18 with 2 needed to win. Wildsmith comes in at 11, one ball left in the over, gets a single and then gets out the first ball of the next over. Coulson stranded on 38 off 54, and it's a tie.

Thinking of firing Wildsmith for taking the single, tbh.
