I doubt it makes a difference, but I always bowl first on them. In theory the pitch should get easier to play on and I hardly ever see a team not chase down a small total. Also if you thrash someone you get a much smaller individual fitness hit bowling first and getting them all out for a small total - as opposed to batting the full 50 first.andyc said:
