Pity. So many great cricketers miss out who played for SA, who played for some great Rhodesian teams in the Currie Cup or who left Rhodesia during their independence or just played ODIs for Zimbabwe.No. Just Test cricketers who played for Zim

Should be no restrictions IMO. If the voters decide they count, they should count.Do great Rhodesian players count ?
True. I suppose it wouldn't make a difference like you say. But probably unknown to most they have had some awesome cricketers worth reading up on and even players as we know who jumped ship. They obviously had some help from players like Mike Procter, Robin Jackman, Peter Carlstein as non-Rhodesians but they competed strongly in the Currie Cup in some spells.Should be no restrictions IMO. I realise NUFAN has already said otherwise but I suspect the number of people voting for non-Test players would be really small anyway. Too late now I guess.
Yeah I think it would've been interesting to see you vote for a stack of Rhodesian domestic players, especially as I don't think it'd end up biasing the actual results. It'd create discussion and give them some well-deserved credit in the full listing of voted for players, and probably not affect the overall result.True. It's amazing when you look at their cricket how it stayed in the farming family names but so many moved to England, SA , Australia, New Zealand that the family lines just stopped.
Goofy Lawrence and Joe Partridge were one hell of a opening bowling partnership for Rhodesia and both did relatively well for SA. I read Lawrence moved Oz and the son or grandson was a decent Aussie Rules player.
