So from the other thread I wrote the following:

What I am planning (if the whole sim thing isn't too hard) is to have a bracket tournament similar to College Basketball.

This would mean:
- 64 teams in total
- Roughly 24-28 of all selected teams would miss out.
- At least 50 percent of each countries XIs would make the top 64
- 16 seeds: all 10 countries top side, plus an additional 6
- 4 seeds per bracket
- Unseeded teams will be positioned using a random generator
- 2 teams from the same country can't meet in the first round only.

- 3 Test Series, winner progresses, loser is out.
- That will increase to 5 Tests at either the final or semi final

Turns out I've got the SIM covered (thank you Pews) so yes we are still picking teams, but it doesn't mean we can't work out the seedings now. I don't yet know how to embed a 64 team bracket on here but it will look very cool if this can be done.

I think I'll just have 8 seeds instead of 16 actually (max 2 from any country) so the 5th through 8th will be at the opposite end of the bracket as whichever top 4 team they get.

This one is tough. Australia has Bradman but the West Indies has Sobers and England has Barnes.

What happens for the next seeds? Do you replace Australia and West Indies (looks done and dusted) with their A sides to pick from ten again, or select from the rest to ensure all countries get seeded?

It doesn't matter. No 'A' side is going to get seeded above the first elevens of England and South Africa.
