A Unique Pair

Line and Length

Cricketer Of The Year
Without going back through all the threads prior to this year, I'm sure there will have been plenty of mentions of batsmen making "pairs". Perhaps one of the best known pairs was Graham Gooch who, along with a number of others, made a pair on his Test debut.

I'm not sure if there will have been mention of a pair of players who share the unique distinction of having made an "unofficial" pair.

"Unofficial"? In T20 cricket batsmen generally only have the one innings unless there is a tie and a Super Over. Innings in these Super Overs are, from the perspective of being "official", not included in a player's T20 career stats.

Thus, the pairs made by Shoaib Malik and Moises Henriques are officially unofficial - making this pair of pairs unique.
