Nope, not in a World Cup. That sort of stuff is exclusively reserved for meaningless bilateral matches in India.

Ali Brown would've in his sleep. Would've done it through boundaries only, because running is for athletes...

By allowing minnows to partake in the World Cup we do open up the possibility of such feats occurring which would in reality make a mockery of the ODI game which is very sacred IMO.

No one has ever made an ODI 200 outside of India.

As Burgey would say, this sort of stuff doesn't happen in proper conditions.

No one but Indian batsmen have ever made ODI 200s.

This sort of stuff doesn't happen unless you're a proper batsman.

De Villiers could never manage a score like that, he can't stay in for 50 balls on today's evidence. Hack.

The one batsman to score 2 ODI double hundreds has a pretty poor test record actually..

More about flat picthes, small grounds and having a good eye.

And Bradman had a poor quidditch record. What's the relevance?

The batsmen to hit ODI 200's have been decent ODI players against decent opposition and that is all that matters.
