Yeah that wasn't Howard bowling to Hawke, it was a Pollies vs Press Gallery game in Canberra when Hawke was PM.

A few weeks later the navy had the PM and the press corps on a couple of its ships to demonstrate those mid-ocean transfers across from one to the other using a sort of flying fox arrangement, and Hawkie made sure the bloke who sconned him had to do the transfer.

Howard bowls and bats like a conservative. He looks like he's never been formally introduced to his limbs, and belongs to the only political denomination that can make breathing look like it requires some form of hand eye coordination.
