The animation was horrendous in that game. It was like the batsman were playing golf. Bowler animations were pretty iffy as well.

I also remember that the computer couldn't play spinners at all.

It was so long ago and I was so young that I didn't really remember how bad it looked until I saw a few videos of it on youtube a couple of years ago. Probably the most fun I ever had playing a cricket game though, 05 felt **** in comparison.

I only played 05 on the PS2 and it was bugged like crazy. I think with a few patches it could have been ok, but the console version was just terrible. I remember hardly being able to score a run unless I used the "charge down the wicket" shot, which worked every time, especially against 150kmph bowlers.
