Was basically Red/Blue only with a pikachu from the off. First Gym's speciality? Rocks. Worst thing ever.

Weird, iirc you could only catch a Pikachu in the forest after the 1st gym, and started with either the Lizard thing, Squirtle, or the plant wombat.

I have Emerald on my SP actually, quite a good game, but I finished it ages ago, and have beaten the Elite League thing plenty of times, and caught Rayquazza, Latios and all those things.
