WRRW would like to approach Chris Harris to play in the CL.
We would love to have the ex-ICL star on board for CL and possibly the season.
A 2-point rated player, I'd say. Confirmed.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."
So what are the rules concerning overseas players? I assume we cant ask to sign any player that has a team involved in the event. But can we sign a player if his IPL team didnt qualify? Or are all contracted IPL players off limits?

IPL players not involved already may be approached. Remember though that players signed now will not necessarily be carried forward into the new season. There will more likely be another draft of sorts.
Take Chris Cairns to piss off Modi!
And then get him to carry the drinks.

Me and Harris have played before. By played, I mean we were playing pokies at the same Invercargill pub in about 2002 - admittedly, he was looking like an addict, playing two machines at once for $1 a spin on each game...
