Group consensus by moderators

Dan has suggested this thread gets made. I was planning to email James however this will suffice.

I am on my phone so this will be short

Quick justice is good justice and too many threads fester for 24-48 hours until all 8-9 mods have seen the posts and given their profound opinion on whether to infract or not.

The system may be warm and fuzzy by including all opinions but it is too slooooooooow

Two options

A) allow each mod to dole out any 5 pointer they want. James either trusts their judgement or he doesn't. Fire anyone who makes stink decisions over time
B) a mod proposes an infraction and one other mod confirms it in the mod forum and then it happens

If you make a bad call who cares have an appeal process and James can over turn decisions

That is all

Forget infractions, moderators should have thread bans at their disposal.

If things get out of hand in a thread then they can temporarily ban a member from the thread. If the moderator was perhaps a bit overzealous then it's fairly straightforward to just bring back the member to the thread at a later time.

This is something that can be done on vbulletin.

So yeah, bring in the ****blocks.

yeah thread bans would make things a lot easier. there is no acceptable reason other than tech issues not to have them imo.
