Thread deletion - unprecedented?

There could be a case for deleting the whole of Cricket Chat and starting from scratch. It's often had low points and then recovered but for a few months now it's been complete dross and is showing no signs of improvement.

The start of the decline can be pinpointed to precisely when I stopped posting in there regularly to be honest.
