Give Precambrian A Chance?
It sets a bad precedence but he has been good in his latest avatar as Pigeon. He is addicted to the site and if told to behave, and he can carry on peacefully, we can all let this issue which has dragged on for forever end. No one cares any more.

Can't do it, IMHO. Would make the threat of bans meaningless if they're circumvented just by persistence.
That's not to mention the blatant lying ("all those other multis weren't me") in his last but one guise.

If you're going to do that you may as well strike-out all bans and never press the ban button again. Once you let someone just multi their way out of a ban you set a precedent that basically makes the whole forum untenable.
I've said several times that I don't mind Precambrian at all, but unfortunately it seems he's done wrong and you can't sacrifice the wellbeing of the forum to be nice to someone. BTW Dale Brumby's comment somewhat ironic given he once advocated the precise same as P does here for SW\BLE - ie, "his latest account hasn't done any harm, why was it banned?"

He's had a chance, and then one after that, and one after that, and one after that, and one after that, and so on.
The same attitude prevailed last time he came back. It seems like everytime he appears someone says "Well, as long he isn't causing any trouble". Hasn't he already ignored his ban by being back here? **** him off I say.

Also more or less eliminates the need for mods imo. What authority do they actualy have if you can keep coming back whenever you want. Might as well start posting porn in the Hottest Women threads.
