I've had to resort to entering the site through http://www.cricketweb.net/forum rather than http://forum.cricketweb.net which keeps giving me the database error message.

FTR, there are three: http://www.cricketweb.net/forum (which is the one I use as standard); http://forum.cricketweb.net; and http://cricketweb.net/forum.
Been fine for me today and IIRR yesterday too.

There was a batch job running to update Stats Spider around this time, which meant load on the server was higher than normal for 10-15 minutes.Grrrr ... it's currently taking about two minutes to load a page, and at least twice as long to post a reply.
Going to make breakfast while waiting for this to appear.
