What are India doing playing South Africa and Pakistan on an English tour? Or am I missing something?

They're playing some games in Ireland and Scotland, in an effort to "grow the game" I assume

I hope for the sake of the players that several of the ODIs are rained off.

As for squads, I will cut out of the lists who I don't think should play in either form of the game.

This is too big to be a squad, but just my rough idea.

Green for both
Red for Test only
Blue for ODI only

Batsmen
Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Wasim Jaffer, Dinesh Kartik, Subramaniam Badrinath, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma

Bowlers
Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, S Sreesanth, Ranadeb Bose, Ramesh Powar, Anil Kumble, Pragyan Ojha, Munaf Patel, VRV Singh, Piyush Chawla*,

*Not in performance camp because training in Indian academy in Australia

That is a bit sceptical of India's chances.

I think India's new found defensive opening partnership will prove vital in seaming English conditions.
