Symonds better than Hussey probably at #5. So I can make that change. Watson as 5th bowler is needed. You wouldn't want to rely on M. Waugh, Symonds etc. to get through 10 overs in all time team.

Picking Watson over Mark Waugh seems sacrilegious but I think his bowling is needed and he never batted all that well down the order. Not sure which order to pick Symonds and Hussey, but Hussey was more of a #6 and Symonds a #5 so

2nd XI would probably look like:

Hayden
M Waugh
Smith
G Chappell
Clarke
Haddin
O'Donnell
Hogg
Johnson
Bracken
Lillee

More-or-less agree with morgieb aside from sledger's objectively correct point that more Ian Harvey is required.

I think that Warner has a case to be ahead of Hayden now. Doubt that this is a popular opinion.

Warner needs to bring out a cookbook if he really wants to compete with Hayden. Ideally it would include a recipe for an escapegoat.

Haha i can imagine him or his brother finding some snails in the backyard and do their own version of escargot.
