Eden Park, Auckland. Best seats?

Never been to a live match and looking at going to see SA vs PAK at Eden Park. Wondering if any locals could give advice on section/seat options? Behind the bowlers arm? Square of the wicket? Ground level or up higher for a better vantage?

Cheers!

IMO the best seats are behind the bowler/batsmen. It's easier to keep track of the ball. Square of the wicket it's tough to pick the line of the ball, and for the quicks its to the batsmen before you can pick it up. But square is fine if you like the idea of having a chance of catching a big six to mid wicket.

Ground level its easier to see the boundary close to you (further back might have this part of the ground obscured by the grandstand. But further back allows you better perspective of the other side of the ground.

Eden Park's two main stands (North and South) are covered (except for the North Eastern corner) so should offer protection from any rain or sun. These would be categories A or B and be behind the bowler (though B will be more towards Wide Long On/Off)

hopefully these photos from the india test there last year provide some indication of the differences in the view
