There's been an over-saturation of cricket between these two teams lately, however they are still two evenly matched teams with the worlds best spin bowlers and a couple of great batsmen in both teams. Throw in MJ's retirement and the rankings and there's plenty to play for, shame we won't get a Pallekele test though, always a bummer when test cricket gets played at SSC.

I'm looking forward to this.. with Mahela's retirement and the liking Sanga has to Pak bowling I'm expecting a runfest. Herath vs Ajmal will also be a good contest - definitely the two best Test spinners going around today.

wasn't the NZ game (you know, that one :p) played at the SSC?

NZ toured in Novemeber - the second monsoon season in SL, twas very humid, not so much in July

Love how Chandimal's first knock for the 'A' tour is a century, but the real success story of that tour so far has been Chatarunga de Silva, he probably ought to be in our WC plans with his late-order hitting and decent SLA bowling.
