Watson, Sehwag, Gayle and Perera present the Rubbish Review Hall Of Shame

Stuart Broad also an honorary member.

For those that really make a captain wish he could ban certain players from reviews. The 'hitting middle of middle' or 'reviewed a massive edge' types.

---

One tonight - Dilshan reviewing one, supposedly for lbw, when it had clearly come straight off the glove and got nowhere near the pad.

Note: Match context does not matter. A **** review is a **** review

I only wish I told someone to make this thread during the Ashes. So much Wato gold missed out.

Those are the names that instantly came to mind when I thought of players who were known for reviewing plumb LBWs.

There was one in the Ashes where Bell reviewed one which was hitting the middle of middle, that was pretty funny

KP likes a review too, it's fair to say.

Maharoof in the 2nd innings at Cardiff springs to mind. Practically middled it behind to Prior, but reviewed it straight away. Cue comments of "He's reviewed it immediately; knows he hasn't hit it" from Arnold. Except the replays and Hotspot confirm the ump's diagnosis.

Some gold in the WC too:

Umar Akmal's first ball in the WC group game versus SL. He top edged it into his grill and SL reviewed for LBW. Made no contact with the pad at any time.

Sehwag in the final. Pinged bang in front of middle below the knee well back in his crease by Malinga. Hitting halfway up middle. Reviewed.

Both Akmal's last year in England, wanted to review the decision every single time the finger came up, both compulsive reviewers.

Afridi was an impulsive reviewer, but then again Afridi is impulsive in everything he does. The only good reviewer we had was that cheat little buttocks.

Jacknife, I love your avatar.

In the last Ashes Ryan Harris got a King Pair, and unsuccessfully reviewed both dismissals, earning the unique distinction of having been given out four times having only faced two balls.

Credit to Gideon Haigh for drawing attention to this wonderful stat.

But the funniest has to be Raina reviewing his LBW in the 3rd test in the ongoing Ind-Eng series

Whatever it takes!!!

Not just that, he actually stopped Azhar Ali from reviewing a LBW decision when he had clearly inside edged the ball onto his pads.. F off Umar Akmal... :@

Brad Haddin a notoriously **** reviewer from the other side of the stumps, has to be said. Got one right the other night but geez I wouldn't trust him much.

Watson's hilairous. He's such an LB candidate and you know the review is coming no matter how plumb it is.

It could be a yorker smashing him on the toe bowled stump to stump and going to clean up middle and he'd ask the other bloke up the end who'd say 'you are plumb as' and then Watto would turn away and... review it.

Australia tour of Sri Lanka, 1st Test: Sri Lanka v Australia at Galle, Aug 31-Sep 4, 2011

Australian first innings, day 1, middle session,51st over/ball 6.

Tillakaratne Dilshan decides to use a review on a LBW that was angling down the leg side and hit the batsman on around leg stump. heh. what an idiot.

Can we include blokes who we reckon would have been **** reviewers if URDS was around in their day?

Inzi would have been horrific.
