Anna Kournikova

It is now 14 days, or 2 weeks, until Anna Kournikova starts playing in the ASB Bank Classic in Auckland

I couldn't get tickets to the tournament, because I haven't got a driver's license yet (still got my learners), so my parents would have to take me, and they would be suspicious about my sudden interest in tennis...

I'll definitely watch it on TV though...

Is anyone here planning to go?

Most female tennis players look an awful lot like men...In fact, I can only think of one exception...

Thats a bit harsh Rich, there are only a few female tennis players who like like men Amelie Mauresmo for one. By the way Anna Kournikova isn't that bad a tennis player, you don't getinto the top 20 in the world without playing some bloody good tennis.

Anna Kournikova is now in Auckland. She arrived on Christmas Eve. She was on the news and it was quite funny. Did anyone see that news report?

I thought it was really funny at the start when she was walking away and the reporter was chasing her saying 'Can I talk to you Miss Kournikova?' and then she suddenly turned around and ripped the microphone out of his hands.

I went to the tennis place yesterday, hoping to see some famous players practising (nobody in particular ) but it was a qualifying tournament for the players who weren't good enough to get in without qualifying...so I only saw people I had never heard of before...

Well, she's reached the semi finals without too much trouble...

Did anyone see that thing on the news the other day though about that reporter at the press conference being all evil to her? Thats a pretty stink thing to do
