If either Flem or I don't submit lineups by the deadline just use the one from the previous match.

There is no deadline, I sim matches when I feel a good number of lineups are in. I would greatly prefer that even if you play the same headlines that you just copy, paste and repost anyway. That way all the lineups for a particular round are in roughly the same place, making life much, much easier for me. This thread will get very long so I would rather not have to trawl through it trying to find the relevant lineup, plus there's a huge chance I'll pick the wrong post and hence the wrong lineup.

Round 3 - The Brudenell Social Club Pub Quiz Team vs Spennymoor Accordian ****s

Win the toss and bat.

1. Dean Elgar
2. Fawad Alam
3. Dinesh Chandimal+
4. Mahela Jayawardene*
5. David Hussey (7)
6. Andrew Symonds (6)
7. Angelo Mathews (5)
8. Shahid Afridi (4)
9. Graeme Swann (3)
10. Vinay Kumar (2)
11. Mark Davies (1)

Mathews and Symonds to be bowled sparingly, Hussey only if things are going very badly. When in doubt, go for the spinners.

Declare in the first match innings if we're still in on the third day and have over 600.

Up the aggression settings only if we're going for a win on the last day, lower them if we're batting to save the draw. No nightwatchman.

Round - 3 v FF

Win toss - Bat

1) S Sriram
2) Murray Goodwin
3) Dravid
4) Lara
5) Ryder [6]
6) McCullum [+]
7) Franklin [5]
8) Yasir Arafat [3]
9) Asif [1]
10) I O'Brien [4]
11) Jerome Taylor [2]

Arafat comes in for Harbhajan because **** spinners. He's also got an FC SR of 41 and an average of 24 with the ball while playing in both Pakistan and England. Another reason is that we're up against a good bowling attack and need that extra bit of lower order resistance.

Bat defensively immediately after a wicket falls for about 10 overs.

No declaration unless setting a target for a 4th innings chase.

Ryder bowls to break partnerships, keep him going if he gets the breakthrough
