The Australian Test team only has an index of 1.75

Although if goes up to 2.07 if you replace Beer with Hauritz. It's an accurate system.

Is this index for the squad, the XI I named, or the best XI possible from the 13?

I fully expect Fenoms to finish in the bottom three now.

The eleven you named. There was actually a bug in the way I was working it out for non-CPL teams though and your index was in fact 1.76, which is still stupidly awesome.

Forgive me for treating the index with a dash of scepticism when Nathan Hauritz gives you an extra 0.3 out of 1.7, though

Still, it might be interesting to see how these teams rate on the scale compared to where they'll eventually end up. Might give us some pre-tournament odds?

Probably just because Beer is that bad.

It's just that Beer is so, so bad. Simming average of 60 with the pill.

Unless having beer gives you negative points(which it could) that is some weird numbers.

Or Hauritz is about twice the other aussie players ,if i am getting it right?

Haha, it does though, in a way. It's calculated by what it expects your batsmen to score divided by what it expects your bowlers to concede. Having one of your main bowlers averaging 60 is a problem.

That gives him 10 bowling points in the ITC database doesn't it?

In older versions - yes. In this version it just gives an a strike rate of 120 and an economy rate of 50; it doesn't use bowling points as such anymore.

When did Dan update ITC, and does it run on Windows 7?
