I hope so. I like to think of computer software suddenly growing malevolent and starting to scythe down arbitrary players it doesn't like.
Maybe we wouldn't be so quick to fill buckets with filth if we knew they had a soul. Or maybe that's what they're into. Ain't no way to get inside a bucket's mind.

Players can get injured, yes. But I can make it so the injury doesn't clears as soon as the match ends.

An injury that lasts the game would suffice I think. If not it's all down to luck if one of your stars gets injured and misses too many games.

Nah, realism FTW. We've picked squads not XIs, after all
    I'm just saying
RIP Craigos. A true CW legend. You will be missed.

True. No point having an extra five on the bench doing nothing the whole series. Although totally random injury isn't completely realistic, there isn't really any way around that.

But if the sim doesn't how does Spark decide how long the injury is for?

Use the ALFTA injury sim IMO.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

Could probably tweak the software so that older players or fast bowlers are likelier to suffer injury, especially if their workload is not managed properly, or if they are not rested every once in a while.

That would mean you would have to look up the injury history of every player in the sim. A young player be more frequently injured than an older one as it happens often in RL.

A sim within a sim? Great idea but:

Just make it so that those who retired from proper cricket break down on walking onto the pitch.

Agree with VCS and Marc's sentiments.
