Banter is a two way street. Deal with it.
You can't edit posts after 24 hours or more have passed. I remember making a thread about this in the Site Discussion forum once. I think it should be permissible to update opening posts in threads of this nature for as long as necessary.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!
Anyone want to join the Society?
Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.
Use the newer one in my opinion. Can't see any harm in it.
Tendulkar would be slightly better and Clarke/Ponting slightly worse. While recent form is important to the system, if a player is still playing and is an all-time great like Punter the difference in his batting won't be huge.
Pretty negligible difference with all the players taken so far bar Trott I'd say.
The important thing is that, irrespective of the time difference, the system I used in the second database is far more accurate and far more suited to a competition of 16+ teams. Reckon it'd feel more fun and accurate to have players by their current abilities anyway.
