    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Chu bats too low. Always looks good and should be No6 at least. Nearly always finds himself batting with the bowlers within a couple of overs of coming in.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Otago allowed the run rate required to climb far too high. Chu is clearly their star player and batted brilliantly for 49 off 39 balls but even with him and Phillips going well they could only hold the rate at 7 an over so was always going to be too much to ask. Whoever their coaches are, they...

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Cumming is a walking wicket this season. Feet encased in concrete. What's the point of having coaches if they can't rectify a simple problem?

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Just finished watching ND v Otago match. Chu and Lockrose batted well. Duffy and Bacon bowled well but apart from that it was a pretty poor performance. Two run outs! Cumming, who impressed me last year, played an atrocious shot in 2nd inns with three overs left in the day which set the tone...

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

I had this confirmed yesterday by a NZ pro cricketer who is currently playing in English club cricket.

*Official* New Zealand domestic season 2022/23

Duffy was excellent in the very first match v Auckland and has been pretty average since, but in the 4th match against ND he was just terrible, so not really a large variance within games, rather a large variance between games.

*Official* New Zealand domestic season 2022/23

I've watched the entire first four Otago Plunket Shield games via YouTube and thoroughly enjoyed them. These are my observations regarding the Otago side. The batting is generally weak which is underlined by the top two in the batting averages so far are both bowlers with Gibson on 43 and...
