    Can't post on Chrome

Hi, when I try to post on Chrome, the text box is simply greyed out. This happens for all forms of posting - quick replies, advanced replies, and even VMs. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else?

Where does Dale Steyn stack up historically

Hopefully we can keep the debates out of the great man's retirement thread and discuss it in a dedicated thread here. See poll.

How do Tahir and Ajmal stack up in ODIs

Both Tahir and Ajmal have around 100 ODI matches under their respective belts, which feels a fair number to be considered in a discussion of this sort. I was originally planning on looking at Tahir in particular, which led me to notice Ajmal's remarkable ODI stats. Ajmal: 180 wickets in 108...

    21st Century one-per-team XI

Basically, what is the best team that can be made with one player from each Test nation (and two from one)? Caveat is that the have to have played in the 21st century. My best attempt was: 1. Hayden (AUS) 2. Cook (ENG) 3. Lara (WI) 4. Tendulkar (IND) 5. Williamson (NZ) 6. Al Hasan (BAN) 7. A...

    Amla or De Villiers?

Who is the better batsman between the two? It's quite an interesting comparison. They're within a run of each other average-wise. AB is possibly more of a matchwinner, but Amla is more likely to score big and anchor an innings.

Cullinan has a go at Kallis

Cullinan slams 'Kallis show' | Sport24 Coming from the all-knowledgeable in terms of stamping authority on the bowler...coughWARNEcough. Seriously, the part where he says was so, so hilarious. I assume Cullinan was referring to himself, given he was one of the top batsmen that batted alongside...

    Outswing vs Inswing

Which do/would you prefer bowling; which do you prefer facing; which is more effective in getting wickets. Just generally discuss the merits of the two arts. I personally prefer bowling outswing as it seems more likely to snag a wicket, but I'd also rather face it.

    Harrow vs Short Handle

I know it's to do with height etc which one you choose. But do some of you not use harrow purely because they're so much lighter than the SH equivalent? Was feeling some GM bats and honestly reckon I'd want to buy their Harrow because it'd give you such and advantage in terms of having extra...

    Teen pace levels

So we've been having this conversation on cricsim. I am a pace bowler, and am coached by a guy who claims to have played a bit of pro cricket (although I can't find him on cricinfo/that cricket archive site thingy ) and has faced everything from your slowest plodders to the pace of the likes of...

    Slob

Anyone given it a try? Tried it out at my practice today and it worked well when I directed it decently. Got one to swing in a bit as well which really gave the batsman no chance

    Advertising other forums

I'm sorry if this shouldn't be posted or something, but meh. Are we allowed to create a thread somewhere advertising a forum/site we feel certain members may be interested in? I, for example, am building up an SA cricket forum (something I feel the internet lacks) - since the forum isn't really...

The Great 1980s All Rounders 2.0

Khan, Dev, Hadlee, Botham - four of the best allrounders in history. Its hard to choose between them, but if you had to, how would you rank them (as ARs)? IMO: Khan, Botham, Hadlee, Dev. This thread is for users who are not entangled in a cricketweb so I ask that you only post in this thread...

CW Cricket Multiplayer League Sign Ups.

OK, so Cricket Web has a games section, which includes a flash game: CW Cricket Cricket Web - CW Games Home What I am hoping to do is to create a league where I (or a volunteer) would create a set of fixtures involving all teams that enter. The two users who get drawn against each other in a...

    Stick Cricket League

I'm not quite sure how to do this, but I think it could be quite fun to create a Cricketweb stick cricket league. If someone could either explain to me how to create a league or else do it themselves, that would be great.

    The ICC Bangladesh Challenge

Basically, the challenge is this: Start off managing Bangladesh and see how good you can make them. You can use any stock version of International Cricket Captain (ie 2005, III etc) but obviously must use the standard squads. Anyone in?
