Was watching the Stone Cold-Rikishi angle. This bit had me laughing uncontrollably. Poor Brawler, such a legend.

Gonna miss Rohit once he hangs up his boots. For my money the easiest on the eye of all Indian batsmen I've watched and there's been a few.

About time someone got bowled out for <100. How bad does Ishant's action look? Never the most aesthetic and he still bowls ok despite it but holy **** it's shot to pieces, crumpling over himself in delivery, back shuddering to an abrupt halt in the follow-through, no rhyme or reason to the...

I was watching random Shoaib Akhtar clips a few days ago. Hyperextension-shmension, that dude was freakin wanging them down.

Some Houdini act from RR. Buttler's been somewhat becalmed in recent years it seems but the cold-eyed assassin came out last night. Such an air of inevitability about him when he's in that mood.

    Michael Slater in BIG Strife

Death is the most all-round utilitarian thing that can happen in some cases, especially when there are kids involved. Something else I've noticed is that it isn't rare for those "bereaved" (relieved might be a better more unsentimental term) to paint the person as not-all-bad in retrospect but...

Pandya's got no finesse, just throws his hands through the V in front of the wicket. Gonna stink up the WC.

Taker's grown noticeably smaller in height. Didn't tower over Rocky like he used to. Old bones settling.

I doubt even the teams took the first edition all that seriously. Different story altogether now obv.

What's the story between you two? Is it that you update the other when he's asleep or something?

    Marshall vs Hadlee (overall cricketers)

Yeah, ultimately an effective cricketer is one who wins you the most matches. Obviously, Marshall had an ATG support cast around him to help him along, but it is what it is. If anything, Sir Richard should blame it on being Kiwi.

Drew is on a different level right now. Bondage Undertaker  Is he leaving still a thing? Because he's not getting a bigger stage anywhere else...unless someone in Hollywood realizes he's the next Bond wrapped and ready to go.

I thought it was very movie-like (Unbreakable, TDK, you complete me types). Maybe Rock takes over the Mr. McMahon persona in the future and makes Cody's life hell. Pretty intriguing.

Gotta say Cody's the most natural, wholesome babyface champion the company's had since Bret Hart. I know there have been a few since, Cena the most obvious, Bryan too, but Cody has to be to today's kids what Bret was to my generation thirty-five years ago, a genuine feel-good hero.

It's as vulgar and showy as anything on the planet yet somehow cathartic and even morally illustrative at times. Transcends every other kind of consumerist entertainment out there while tapping into virtually all of them for inspiration albeit with varying degrees of success but still being...

Some love letter to the fans. I get Cornette and Co. insisting on calling it professional wrestling but really this spectacle is in a genre of its own and Sports Entertainment is the only label that does it justice.
