    This comp is still in early days yet...each team plays the other home and away - Thats 14 games each....Any team even Deccans can redeem themselves if they pick up from now...and even Kolkata /Channai/ Delhi unbeaten so far can fall out any time...if they lose a few in a row... I am guessing...

    I think Murali needs to make a smart move and play more IPL and County Cricket and minimise his Cricket to just Test Cricket and only selective Test Cricket....Because he is getting closer to retiring and he needs to try and get some dosh and savings ...playing for SL doesn't earn him much...he...

    Look man, I was referring to this second ODI which you have to be pretty daft to not admit that weather was a major factor and combined with the Umpiring decisions made it lopsided...And since you brought this issue of Umpiring I thought you needed to be reminded about the Umpiring frailties...

I won't go into the numerous ordinary umpiring decisions in the Second Test and ODIs ....I did say SL played ordinarily and deservedly lost the series, but obviously your blinkered eyes missed it completely and went into ranting mode about my being a sore loser...

    SL deservedly losing the series, West Indies can count on Umpiring and weather to have helped them here....But SL are pretty average these days, I expect Bangladesh and Zimbabwe to beat them later in the year (with Bayliss continuing to be absolutely useless)if Murali and Vaas give those series...

    At 31 by the time the World cup comes around he would have declined to probably a 10 runs per game and perhaps 3 over for 30 runs and even half a run out or few near misses one feels.... is that enough to retain him ?:laugh: :laugh: And by the way is Mendis the first Sri Lankan Army soldier...

    as far as I Can see, Dilshan is certainly not going to make the cut for the next World Cup and therefore I see it as a waste to retain the guy in a squad where he does very little and gets by scoring a 20 or 30 and can never ever be a match winner...

    Dilshan's position in the Team must be really questioned .....the failure to include some of the others for this ODI series by the selectors is questionable ..ie MDK Perera and Warnapura...Because Mubarak is the only other option left in the ranks for this series Dilshan will continue to score...

    I hope SL can take a cue from West Indies and India and rest Vaas as well and play the others through this ODI series...We really need to give the younger bowlers a go here...Not sure if Malinga , Maharoof or Dilhara will be available, but giving Vaas a rest is necessary IMO to give the others...

Credit to West Indies for resurrecting and levelling the series...Murali again struggling to get wickets when it matters and SL absolutely pathetic when that guy goes wicketless...you could argue SL is...
