    Australia's Mental State

"Get ready for a broken ****ing arm." "You just wait until Brisbane." Superficially these two comments are similar but they reveal the root cause of the issues faced by this Australia team. In the first instance you have a captain who is present, switched on and focused on the game in front...

    Sack Langer

Australia's worst ever batting performances have been while Langer had either been the batting coach or the head coach. He needs to go.

Should we force a minimum post count before a user can make new threads?

I've noticed a decent number of one post posters starting threads that are obvious spam recently. Should we force a minimum of ten posts before allowing for the ability to start a new thread?

The "What Is He Smoking" Draft

Ok for this draft I want to go a bit crazy with the rules. In that I'm not telling you the rules beforehand. Each round you will select a player, as you would in every other draft. At the end of each round I will announce the rule for the round. Now so that you know I'm not making the rule up...

    Mark Waugh catching appreciation thread

Was just looking up Mark Waugh as a draft option. I knew he was a gun in the slips and remember him taking a ton of catches, but the amount of catches he took is mind boggling. He took more catches than many wicket keepers and at a better rate than some of them. Anyway, here is a great video...

    Wilfred Rhodes vs Monte Noble

Who was actually the better player? Both players have very similar stats. Who was regarded as the better player?

    Posting from an Android Phone

Over the last few days posting from an Android phone has become almost intolerable. Any time I use the backspace key (which is a lot) or the enter key (which is also a lot) the whole keyboard disappears. This is the only site that seems to do this. Is this a forum software bug or something else?

    Your favourite nobodies

Who are your favourite players who weren't much chop and why? Personally I love Peter Taylor. His bowling action was great and he made me appreciate spin bowling.

Fast Bowler Survivor Round of 32 and Preliminary Finals

In contrast to the Group stages and the Round of 64, the Round of 32 and Quarter finals will be groups of four bowlers. The format for the quarters will change slightly as well. In the Round of 32, we will be ranking 8 groups of 4 bowlers in order from best to worst (however you define that)...

    Australia vs India 2020/21

There is talk of this tour going ahead behind closed doors: https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/29075530/cricket-australia-mulls-five-india-tests-closed-doors So what will that look like? Will you still be keen as mustard to see India demolished 5-0?

Fast Bowler Survival - Round of 64 and 32 voting thread

Round of 64 Down to the business end of the competition. The chaff has been separated, only the wheat remains. Crank up the youtube clips and cricinfo articles, things are beginning to get real. I've seeded the round of 64 based on the voting results of the group stages. We will be voting...

    Alphabetic draft

With the classic draft winding up I'd like to start a new draft to sink hours of my time into. Rules: You must pick your players in alphabetic order (according to cricinfo's player lists). You may not pick any two players who have the same relevant initial (e.g. you can't pick Sobers and...
