    Price of £25 ridiculous!!!

I was glad to pay the 25 to begin with but I think its a bit out of hand to have two prices which differ by so much. Seeing as though we are only two days from release (hopefully!!) why can't anyone give us any more details on what said updates will contain and also will fans be able to make...

    Price of £25 ridiculous!!!

Isn't this essentially charging for patches, which is pretty average if its the case. I thought Oli was trying to make this game like the cricket version of CM/FM, who allow full data editing, free patches and updates.

    Invasion of the lefties

How many people that are considered to bat left handed are actually left handed when they write and so forth, as I know many international players bat what is considered to be the opposite way traditionally. On this point if you were taught to do it from an early age, dosnt it make sense to bat...

Will the West Indies ever rise again?

It seems the soccer/basketball arguement keeps getting brought up but is cricket the top sport in Australia/SA or England either. I mean in Australia we have the AFL, NRL and four Super 14's team paying hundreds of players a good salary, better than that of a state cricketer while the A-league...

what the hell happened to that data update ;-)

Didn't they promise online play on the website? If so can't we all get a refund as the product isn't what it claimed to be?

    ***Official*** Super Series

The radio report stated Hogg was out and that White was in but he had not been able to be contacted yet.

    ***Official*** Super Series

Breaking news, Hogg out of super series with knee injury, Victorian Captain Cameron White called up. This news so fresh White dosn't even know he has been called up.

    waiting....

I'm guessing one of you might have wasted their money and the other has saved it. If the patch ain't happend by now and there is no word on it, I doubt it will happen.

    ***Official*** Australia 'A' in Pakistan

Your probs right but it should have happend before the ashes. He looks that out of sorts he will likely struggle against the Windies any way. He dosn't deserve to be in the team if Martyrn dosn't.

    ***Official*** Australia 'A' in Pakistan

Second game ends in a draw, Hussey hits ton, it really is becoming a shootout between him and Jacques for Haydern's spot.

    Martyn dropped from test squad

Once again CA prove they pick players based on who they like and who is more marketable rather than form. I'm all for Watson being in, but to drop Martyn before Haydern is a disgrace, espically with Jacques pressing so hard.

A battle for the soul of Australian cricket

Im not ready to write Ponting off yet I just think he has been given a rough go by CA's rubbishness and Buchanan's ineptness. Hopefully this is the end of Buchanan and we can get a decent coach. I think Border would be perfect and help Ricky alot. If Warne is given the captaincy he would out...

A battle for the soul of Australian cricket

Yeah but how much control is Ponting allowed??? I think the major problem here is CA's desire to have a likeable captain rather than a winning one. I mean why wasn't Ponting vice captain to Waugh the whole time if they never intended to make Gilchrist captain, it was all about image. If CA went...

A battle for the soul of Australian cricket

I think more of Australia's tatical problems should be blamed on the coach rather than the captain. Buchanan is arrogent and useless and if Ponting was failing so misrable why didn't Buchanan send the 12th man out to tell him what he was doing wrong? Buchanan out, Border in.

    Philip Anthony Jaques

Of the players mentioned in here I think Jacques' age will push him past Hussey in the selectors minds and at the rate Haydern's going he could be in for the next test. Watson's worst problem is that he is not what the selectors want him to be, he is a batsmen before a bowler, same with White...

    Next Star

In the slightly longer term, people are speaking about Moises Henriques as a massive prospect for Australia.

Has anyone tried Magpie on ICC 2005's database yet???

    ICC 2005 Trial download

Found this on baggygreen.com, think it is enough evidence to make Henriques an allrounder in the game: "Trevor Hohns, Australia's chairman of selectors, praised his talent, saying: "Moises is a genuine allrounder who would be selected in sides for his bowling or his batting alone."

Kentlad, I noticed on the cricketgames.com thread you have amended Henriques to be a bowler. From everything I have read on him he is considered an allrounder, do you have access to his grade cricket stats??

    ICC 2005 Trial download

I havn't listed these in the cricketgames.com thread as I'm not 100% about them all and also because I'm not a member over their but heres a few errors in the Aussie database I think are correct. - James Hopes and Dominic Thornly listed as batsmen when they are allrounders - Dan Cullen, Adam...
