*official* Ireland vs Bangladesh 3 ODI Super league in England

Would have loved that. Such a shame there aren't any. I suspect we'd have lost though. Still brittle as **** in that format despite some recent white ball improvements.

As far as ODI run-fests go on roads go, this has been a fantastic cricket match.

This is getting pretty scary, and our tail isn't capable of making more than an aggregate of 10.

Very impressive, patient and responsible batting from this pair. These people really are not mugs, and deserve more cricket.

    What was crickets best decade?

    Every decade

Just caught up on the score. They're such a brittle test batting unit, I don't even have words for it. Nice that Shakib shaheb has lowered himself to doing a spot of bowling, it really goes a long way. I may have to stop banging on about how much the pitch has flattened out. (But also...

In a way I'm glad Liton's just got himself out straight after that horrible botched run out. Would have felt sorry for Ireland otherwise. That was a bad shot anyway. He had his weight going towards midwicket while trying to loft it over cover. It's a bad shape to get into to play that shot...

Thought Adair had got Liton run out there. We don't have any batting left after this - just Miraz, who is a bowler who can bat, and then the worst tail in world cricket. Need a lot more from this partnership tbh.

Bizzare stuff. It really doesn't help your depth perception tbh

It's true, Ireland's next innings, which hasn't happened yet, has already disproven everything I've noticed for the last two decades.

Lol, I can't believe Ireland's "bowl relentlessly two foot outside off stump plan" actually worked. Shakib gifting them his wicket playing a sweep from somewhere between off stump and point.

So as expected, the pitch has flattened out and also, batting is really easy in Bangladesh after the 30th over. All you have to do is get through to 30 overs and you can fill your boots against the softer ball. Honestly, it's that easy! Just get through a session without doing anything...

He's defo managing his body and I seem to remember him saying he doesn't rate himself as a test bowler any more. He didn't bowl himself much last time either. Don't think there's much to it (hopefully)

We've picked 6 recognised batsmen and 5 bowlers, including a trio at 9,10 and 11 who won't make 10 between them. I don't even want to think about what could happen.

Adair is doing quite well here. He's found the right length for this pitch, and he's moving it nicely.

I'm worried about batting a man short for the resy of this match. These ****s are just made of glass. If it's not quicks pulling out before every single match, there's also someone going down mid game. Goatdot has struck!

Lol settle down bro, it's got grass on it. Grass + our climate = it flattens out massively after day 1.

It's a difficult track but the bowling has been dog **** since we got to the Mominul Haque phase. Sort it out ****s.

Commentators once again acting baffled that Shakib's not bowling. He doesn't bowl himself much any more. We know this. You watched the same matches I did. Stop acting like it's unexpected FFS!

We're up to the 30+ over mark where the ball has nothing left to offer the bowlers and you can fill your boots. The Mominul Haque period, we could call it.
