    *Official* IPL 2021

Planning to watch the IPL for the first time in a decade because I've caught the cricket bug badly. Was going to root for DC due to Pant, Rahane etc. but I just can't not root for the Hyderabad team. Go SRH!

Which Country has most biased commentators?

I’m sure there are. In the Indian comms, for instance, Harsha doesn’t do it and only Manjrekar does it to the meme extent that guys like Maugh, Ponting and Warne do it. I guess another issue is that nobody really pushes back when someone does it.

Greatest finisher and clutch player ever?

Laxman, KP and Lara in my time watching test cricket. Pant has showed great signs as well.

*Official* India v England 3-ODI series at Maharashtra CA Stadium, Pune

I'd agree but he has only been involved as a core player of England's ODI team since 2015-16. Would say he needs to play for quite a few more years to be considered an ATG.

*Official* India v England 3-ODI series at Maharashtra CA Stadium, Pune

He's played 85 already though and I'm assuming he'll play a fair few when teams start ODI spamming in tours in the lead up to the 2023 WC which he will surely play. For instance, he played 42 ODIs total in 2018 and 2019 combined in the lead up to the 2019 WC and 20 ODIs total in 2016 and 2017...

    Racial Slur or Misunderstanding?

Excerpts from RH's wiki: Henderson claimed media bias against him together with censorship of his views and wrote a number of letters to his constituency Labour MP, Frank Dobson, and later to Tony Blair (then the opposition leader) and also to Blair's wife Cherie. In March 1997 Blair is said to...

    Racism in english cricket

fredfertang wrote an article blasting this piece and the racist dickhead author came to CW to defend himself very tediously. See http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/threads/racial-slur-or-misunderstanding.56373/

    Question on ban announcements

The most recent issue wasn't really a disagreement. weldone took an out of the blue, unprovoked and gratuitous swipe at UC in a really personal and snide manner and people called him out for it.

Who is the greatest ODI bowler of all time?

Yeah, this guys methodology is definitely **** and I'd have Ambrose in my top 5 even. Just wanted to note that Zaheer has done some great things in ODI WCs.

Who is the greatest ODI bowler of all time?

Zaheer was one of the GOAT bowlers in world cups tbf. Had the most wickets in the 2011 WC and was a gun in 2003. He has 44 wickets in 23 games @ 20.22 in WCs. So I can see him being rated very high in a system which gives extra points for WC performances.

Who is the greatest ODI bowler of all time?

Ambrose not being present is the one big omission for me. He had the best economy rate by a decent margin over the period of his fairly long career with a very good average to boot. Guess he might have lost out on WC performances.
