    Even before that Botham wasn't super consistent. He was Great as a bowler for some 5 years then his bowling wasn't near that level. As a batsman he was more consistent, but barely Test standard specialist.

    Murali has almost double the wickets, 2 runs lesser average and 0.32 less Economy. Most importantly, pitch difference is a much smaller issue here than Tests. (And I commented on Warne v Murali again......)
