The big fella:
Worthy winner for mine. Sure there's been more talented ball players, but Jonah's talent transcended the sport. It's a shame his career was so truncated by his kidney problems.
Thanks to all who voted in the battles.
- As featured in The Independent.
"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

For all the New Zealanders who saw Michael Jones in the 1987 World Cup:
What does Jonah have over Michael Jones?
Might sound irrelevant, but I thought the person who won this should have at least won a world cup. I think there's a couple of cases better than Jonah's...
Michael Jones was a far greater player than Lomu, but Lomu was a Superstar and so he won this poll. Simple really.
Think "far greater" is a bit of an exaggeration tho, good as Jones was.
Joens usually gets rated as one of the best All Blacks ever in NZ. As high as #3 on a list they did toward the end of the 90s.
Can you get into SmarksChoice Daniel?
They moved to another board.
e-mail me somehow.
